GTC Hurricane Window Distributors was established in April, 1996. Our mission and purpose is to provide the best possible impact window and door products and service in the business. As an industry leader, we were the first independent window dealer in America to recognize the importance of specializing in impact resistant windows and doors. This commitment to hurricane protection is vital here in South Florida.

We began as a supplier to builders of large townhouse and apartment projects, and soon expanded to include condominiums, tract homes and custom homes.

Most recently, we recognized the need to apply our experience and skill to serve the homeowner. Because of the large volume of business we do in our builder division, we are able to save homeowners money on their smaller window and door replacement jobs as well. From mansions to single family tract homes and from strip malls to condominium towers, GTC has done it all.

Tom Deater, principal owner and founder, has been in the window industry since 1971. Tom’s leadership flows from his wealth of knowledge and experience in every phase of the business. Having been seasoned with various management positions at large national window manufacturers, Tom has brought that expertise to form GTC.  Our simple principal of providing top quality products and superior service, at a fair price, has built us into the company we are today.
